# Merchant Guide

## Types Of Merchants

There are two primary types of merchants who use GotSOL POS every day. \\

Both types use the exact same POS interface. The only difference is whether they use the Cart to pull items from inventory or simply enter a custom amount.

## Getting Started

1. Open app → Sign up or log in with Google/X/email.
2. Tap “Create Merchant” → add your shop name.
3. Add optional Merchant Info about your business.
4. Done: you now have a POS and can accept Stablecoins instantly.

### Accept Payments

1. Enter POS → add amount (current entry) → choose USDC → Select +Add → Generate QR code/payment link. \\
2. Show QR to customer or let them scan from your screen. \\
3. Money lands in your wallet instantly → you hear the “cha-ching” \\
4. You get receipt & tracked in payment history. \\

### Add & Manage Inventory

1. Inventory tab → “+ Add New Product”
2. Type name, price, cost price (for profit tracking), Category and supplier.
3. Set “low stock alert” (e.g, 10 units) → your dashboard will indicate when running low.
4. Sell from Cart → stock auto-deducts, profit shows live. \\
